We have been experiencing problems with the installation of our Siemens induction cooktop for the past 10 days. The technician who came for the installation stated that the building’s electricity is not suitable for the device and that an industrial-type (three-phase) power supply is required, so the installation was not completed.
We contacted Siemens' central technical support, who assured us that the building’s electricity is sufficient and that a three-phase power supply is not necessary. We arranged for the technician and central support to discuss the issue, but neither side could reach an agreement. One side says it is possible, while the other insists it is not.
The device has been waiting for installation for 10 days with no resolution from either the central support or the technician. We are extremely disappointed with the purchase. We are told that a residential kitchen cooktop requires an industrial power supply, adding an additional 30,000 TL in expenses for project adjustments and other costs. We were not informed of this when we bought the product, and no one seems to know what kind of product it actually is.
We are experiencing extreme frustration, trying to mediate between the technical service and central support, but they cannot find a solution. Our next step will be to report the issue to the Consumer Court and return the device, vowing never to buy Siemens products again. We have bought a nightmare with our own money. Siemens has shown no interest or willingness to help. The product code is EX875LX67E.
