I Face Plastic Found Inside My Shake Shack Burger


On October 19, 2025, I placed an order through the Yemeksepeti app from Shake Shack’s Bahçeşehir branch (Order No: #w*-2542-**). I paid ₺1,212.98 via online payment. However, while eating my hamburger, I discovered a large piece of plastic bag inside the sandwich. If it had been a small piece, I might have considered it a mistake — but the size of this piece was unacceptable and a clear sign of negligence.
I immediately called the restaurant to report the issue. The staff member, Mr. İ*, told me to “Call Yemeksepeti so they can send a courier and we’ll send you a replacement.” This response was disappointing and seriously damaged my trust in the brand. I also tried to reach Yemeksepeti customer service, but I couldn’t get through to anyone.
Given what happened, I’m requesting a full refund and a formal apology for this incident. This experience was unacceptable for a brand like Shake Shack, and I don’t plan to order from them again.
