Samsung's Broken Promise: Missing TV Gift in Home Appliance Purchase
About 2 months ago, I purchased a Samsung home appliance trousseau set from the Sarıcelik store in Bozyaka, Izmir. They told me that a Samsung Smart TV was included as a gift. Based on this, we made our agreement and informed them that we would pick up the items in 2-3 months. No other information was provided to us. Today, when we wanted to collect the items, they said the TV promotion had ended. Even when I contacted Samsung service before, they didn't provide enough explanation and admitted there was a lack of information. In my opinion, this is highly misleading. If a gift is promised, it should be given alongside the product. If I have planned my daughter's wedding for 3 months later and made the agreement accordingly, without receiving the necessary warning, the Samsung company must provide me with this TV as they committed. I expect Samsung to rectify this mistake, which is not befitting of such a reputable company, and send us the TV gift along with the trousseau package. I don't believe such practices are suitable for a large company like Samsung. I hope they correct this mistake promptly and don't leave us as victims.
