I purchased a Samsung washing machine with a 6-year extended warranty by paying extra, but rust has started to appear in a straight line just below the detergent compartment. When I called the service for the rust issue, they blamed it on user error in their report. Before this, I used a Regal washing machine for 15 years, and I never experienced any rusting. Instead of admitting their manufacturing flaw, they are shifting the blame to the customer. If the paint and coating are not properly applied, of course, it will lead to corrosion. How am I supposed to use this now? What is the point of the warranty? A machine that still has 4.5 years of warranty left and has only been used for one year and two months should not be rusting this quickly. Is this normal?

I was called by the Samsun solution center and spoke with Ms. Melis. From the beginning of the conversation, she treated me as if I were stupid or foolish, frequently saying that they cannot go beyond the procedure and that they proceed according to what is written in the procedure and the user manual. Even though I told her that I knew these things and used them accordingly, she still acted as if I didn't know or understand anything.

By acting as if they are always right, they stubbornly continued to say that the rust was not due to their poor quality production or being manufactured without resistance to rust, but due to my user error. The discussion led nowhere, now I will apply to the Consumer Court.

They blame the user for everything because they cannot produce a rust-resistant product and do not accept this. What kind of user error could there be in something that rusts in 14 months? No matter what the user does, it shouldn't rust in 14 months. A brand like Regal didn't rust for 14 years.
