Samsung UE55TU8500UXTK Television Developed a Panel Malfunction
trusted in Samsung's durability and purchased all the appliances in my home from the Samsung brand, relying on the brand's reputation and the confidence it instilled. When my Samsung UE55TU8500UXTK television developed a panel malfunction just one month after the warranty expired, I took it to the service center. The customer service hotline, 4447711, informed me that the preliminary diagnosis indicated a cost of around 8700 TL. Given that I had purchased the TV for 11,000 TL, I found it concerning that the estimated repair cost was nearly as much. Upon further investigation, it seemed this was a chronic issue, and I requested that the repair be done for free. Today, I received another call from the number 4447711, stating that they could offer a 50% discount on the repair cost, which was now stated as 6750 TL due to a manufacturing fee. It's disheartening to observe that my relative, whose product warranty expired four months ago, is having their device replaced for a chronic panel malfunction at no cost, while we are being offered a discount. Our request was not for a replacement but for a complimentary repair. This experience has shattered the trust I placed in the Samsung brand, and I regret paying a premium for a brand that doesn't prioritize customer satisfaction. With the money spent on this Samsung product, I could have purchased two TVs elsewhere.
