Samsung Sold Me a Dishwasher but Failed to Install It as Promised

Samsung is not as serious as its ads and store branding suggest. On August 3rd, I bought a dishwasher from a Samsung store. I was told that delivery and installation would take place on August 6th. However, the service team called on the installation day and tried to postpone it to August 7th. After I reminded them of the store’s commitment, they agreed to do it the same day. But no one showed up. By 6 PM, I tried calling the number that had contacted me, only to hear an automated message saying it was outside working hours. I then reached Samsung customer service through their website, asked for service hours, and was told they didn’t know — they simply gave me the service provider’s contact, which led to the same automated message. I bought this product from an official Samsung store — not an online marketplace or tech retailer — yet Samsung refuses to take responsibility and keeps directing me to the service company. On August 7th, I called Samsung again. They could only confirm the open service request. I expressed my frustration and asked Samsung to handle the issue directly. They said they’d transfer me to the solutions team, but after 10 minutes on hold, the call disconnected. I contacted customer service again via internet site. They gave me another number. I called and waited, the call dropped again. I reported the issue and was told I’d receive a callback, but no one called. As of August 7th, the dishwasher I bought on August 3rd still hasn’t been installed. Samsung is pushing customers toward under-resourced third-party service firms and taking no accountability. If a Samsung employee had to take two days off just to get an appliance delivered and installed, would Samsung approve that? As customers, how are we expected to wait at home for days? Would a Samsung executive tolerate hand-washing dishes because their appliance wasn’t installed despite buying it from a Samsung store?
