I Can’t Use My Samsung Jet VS9000 Because the Battery Died Too Soon and No Replacement
I purchased a Samsung Jet VS9000 cordless stick vacuum in November 2020, expecting long-term performance from a premium product. Unfortunately, just a few months ago, the battery died completely, and the vacuum stopped working altogether. Given that such devices should have at least 4–5 years of functional battery life, it's extremely disappointing that mine didn’t even last two full years of use. I live in an earthquake-affected region and wasn’t able to use the vacuum for 3–4 months after the disaster, so the actual usage time was even less.
What’s worse is that I cannot find a replacement battery anywhere. I reached out to Samsung customer service, and they promised someone from their team would follow up with me. It’s been weeks, and I have still received no response.
Is this how Samsung stands by their customers? I now have a ₺7500 vacuum that is completely useless just because the battery failed early and there’s no access to replacements. In the middle of a worsening economy, I can’t afford to buy a brand-new vacuum. Samsung needs to take responsibility and either replace the battery or offer a solution so I can continue using my device.
