I Received the Wrong Battery and Dustbin for My Samsung Jet VS9000 After Service

I purchased a Samsung Jet VS9000 cordless vacuum in late 2020. In December 2023, I brought it to the service center due to a malfunction, handing over the vacuum, battery, and dustbin together. When I received the device back, it seemed to be working. But shortly afterward, I received a call from the service center stating that I had originally delivered the vacuum without a battery or dustbin, and that they had mistakenly attached parts from another vacuum. I was stunned because I had returned home with the exact components I had submitted.

Later, they admitted the parts may have been mixed up with another device, but now claimed it was the charging stand, not the battery or dustbin. That didn’t make sense to me, especially because when I compared the vacuum’s image on the box with the one I received, I clearly noticed the dustbin wasn’t mine. Due to time constraints, I hadn’t been able to bring it back yet.

When the battery stopped charging, I grew more suspicious. I compared the model numbers on the vacuum, battery, and charging stand. The vacuum and stand matched (VCA-SST90), but the battery did not (VCA-SBT90). This clearly proves a mismatched battery was given to me, most likely belonging to the other customer.

Even though I raised this with Samsung’s customer support, they told me that they must accept the service center’s word since they are considered the technical authority—even though the physical evidence contradicts their claim. To this day, the service center continues to deny swapping the battery, despite confirming the dustbin issue.
