My Samsung Jet VS9000 Dustbin Cracked Early and Now Battery Is Dead Too

My Samsung Jet VS9000 Dustbin Cracked Early and Now Battery Is Dead Too
65

I purchased the Samsung Jet VS9000 cordless vacuum, expecting durability and quality. However, shortly after buying it, the dustbin cracked. Since Samsung doesn’t sell this part separately, I had no choice but to glue it together just to keep using it. Eventually, it broke completely and became unusable. For a while, I tried to hold it together with rubber bands—which is unacceptable for a premium product.

Upon researching, I found that this dustbin issue is a common problem among Jet VS9000 users. That’s bad enough, but now the battery has failed too, just 2–3 years after purchase. It no longer charges or powers the vacuum, making the entire product worthless.

To make matters worse, no spare parts are available, so I can’t fix it even if I’m willing to pay for the repair. I’m beyond frustrated that a product this expensive can fail so quickly—and with no way to replace basic components like the dustbin or battery.
