I Bought a Samsonite Backpack from Desa and the Leather Peeled in Weeks

I purchased a Samsonite backpack from the Desa store at Palladium Mall specifically for work purposes. Despite using it with the utmost care and attention, I noticed the leather started peeling in an unacceptably short time.
I immediately sent the bag in for evaluation, expecting a product replacement given the premium price I paid. Instead, I received a response stating that the item was “beyond repair.” But I never requested a repair—I clearly asked for a replacement due to the early and unusual wear.
I’ve been a long-time Samsonite customer, using their luggage and bags for years without issue. I chose this brand again because I believed in its quality and durability, which makes this experience all the more frustrating. It's simply unacceptable for a high-end product to show damage so quickly, especially when treated with care.
I have now sent the bag back for a second evaluation and sincerely request a positive resolution this time. I trusted Samsonite and Desa with my purchase, and I hope they will stand behind their brand by replacing the defective product without further delay.
