I purchased my Samsonite Spectrolite 3.0 backpack about three years ago. Only two months after purchase, the leather parts of the bag started peeling, and this problem has continued for almost three years. Because I trusted the Samsonite brand, I did not send the bag to service while it was still under warranty.
About 16 days ago, a new issue appeared: the zipper got stuck. I delivered the bag to the Samsonite store in Gaziantep Sankopark for repair. After waiting 14 days, the bag was returned to me with the note that it was “not repairable.” However, I noticed that the zipper was actually returned in even worse condition than before.
When I went to pick up my product, I also had to deal with the unhelpful and rude attitude of the assistant store manager. Currently, my backpack suffers from both leather peeling and a broken zipper, and the service process has not solved anything. I originally purchased the bag at Samsonite IstinyePark, and I still have the service receipt.
My Request
I expect Samsonite to either:
Repair the broken zipper free of charge, or
Provide a full replacement of the product.
I kindly ask Samsonite to resolve this issue in line with the brand’s quality standards and ensure that I am not left disadvantaged after purchasing a product that should last many years.
