Ryoko 4G LTE Router Failed to Provide Internet on My Trip to Australia

For my trip to Australia, I purchased the Ryoko 4G LTE WiFi Router; honestly, it was a total disaster. The gadget showed it was "connected," every time I connected to it, yet there was absolutely no internet availability. It could as well have been absolutely unconnected! I stayed there whole week and found no appropriate use for it. The most annoying thing is that, should problems arise, the instructions advises to go to 192.168.whatever—great advise except I couldn't even get to see its own router website! I would have thrown it into the sea out of pure frustration, absent environmental issues. I truly regret spending my money on this awful trashy gadget.
