Ryoko Portable WiFi Delivered Slow Speeds and Added Hidden Fees to My PayPal
Expecting fast and dependable internet on-demand, I bought a Ryoko portable WiFi router from https://getryoko.com. Sadly, the gadget hardly provided 5 Mbps both inside and outside my house—far from what was claimed. Frustrated, I opted to take it back; their return policy was unclear and limited. The package had been opened, hence initially they rejected the return—how else would I know if it worked? They then informed me I could return it, but they would deduct an unidentified cost. Furthermore expected of me was covering the $65 return shipping cost to Canada! Worse, they covertly placed a $10 monthly auto-payment to my PayPal without telling me. This whole experience has been nothing but a hassle; I regret depending on their stuff. I would not advise it to anybody.
