Ryanair Online Check-In Error Led to 605 SEK and 55 EUR Unfair Fees

October 1, 2025 3:00 PM44

On October 1, 2025, I attempted to complete the online check-in for my Ryanair flight FR3616, but the system wouldn’t work in any way, and I was unable to complete the process. I encountered this issue during both my connecting flight from Sarajevo to Brussels and again at Gothenburg Airport. Because online check-in was unavailable, I had to check in at the airport and was charged 605 SEK in Gothenburg and 55 EUR in Sarajevo.

I believe these charges were completely unnecessary and unfair. It feels as though the online check-in system was intentionally disabled to collect extra fees from passengers. I would like to emphasize that this is the first time I’ve experienced such an issue.

I am requesting a refund of both payments (605 SEK and 55 EUR) for the booking made under the name A** T********* M******.
