Reebok Shoe Causing Skin Penetration Issue After One Week
Small, black, thread-like pieces are piercing or sticking into the bottom of the foot from the sole of the shoe. These foreign objects can only be removed from under the skin with tweezers. We’ve been trying to get an exchange for nearly two months now. The shoes were used for only one week. To determine whether the issue was caused by the foot itself, we tried a different pair of shoes and experienced no discomfort. But when we tried the same pair again, the issue appeared once more.
We trusted the brand and paid a high price for these shoes, yet we can’t find anyone to address the problem other than the intermediary store. On In Street’s complaint page, it’s impossible to provide any explanation outside of the preset categories. We also filed a complaint with FLO, selecting a mandatory category and describing the issue in the customer comment box. However, our request was rejected because the defect was “not considered a manufacturing fault.”
If a foreign object inside the shoe sole that pierces the foot is not a manufacturing defect, then what is it? Does only this specific shoe somehow cause the foot to “produce” foreign materials? This has been a major disappointment for us. When my sibling experienced a similar problem with a Lescon shoe, it was replaced one-to-one. Also, I haven’t even mentioned the deformation on the front of the shoe that happened within just five days of use.
