Carrier Refuses 5G Provisioning for OnePlus 15 Flagship Device

While trying to use 5G on my OnePlus 15 with my Turkcell line, I noticed that my device is listed as a non-5G-supported device in the Turkcell My Account app. However, the OnePlus 15 is one of the newest flagship devices on the market, I have an active 5G package on my line, and 5G works seamlessly on other devices using the same SIM card.

Upon learning this, I called Turkcell customer service, and they told me I needed to speak with the device supplier—meaning the brand itself—since manufacturers are responsible for reporting 5G-compatible devices to carriers. When I subsequently called OnePlus Turkey, they stated that they are not the official distributor for OnePlus 15 devices and do not provide 5G software or carrier provisioning to network providers. With both sides passing the buck to each other, the user is left caught in the middle.

Having paid a high price for one of the newest devices on the market, it is extremely frustrating that my phone shows no 5G support on Turkcell's end and that I cannot find a clear point of contact for such a straightforward issue. I request that OnePlus Turkey—or whichever entity handles 5G software and support processes for these devices—clarify who is responsible, escalate the matter to Turkcell urgently, and ensure my device is provisioned as a 5G-compatible device in Turkcell's systems. I demand that this absurd situation on a device we spent good money on be eliminated immediately, and that both brands coordinate to resolve this issue without penalizing the customer.
