Pronet Security's Faulty Alarm System and Unresolved Cancellation
We decided to install an alarm system from Pronet Security at our workplace, but the system constantly malfunctioned. Before 14 days passed, we requested to cancel the service and return the equipment. They agreed, but no one showed up. After five months, they finally came to uninstall it, but we had been calling them repeatedly to cancel it. They assured us that there would be no outstanding debts once it was canceled. However, they took the equipment for a refund, and then, after one month, they claimed we owed them 17,000 TL. We protested and even contacted our lawyer, but their response was that we had to pay the debt and we had no choice. As a result, our bank accounts and assets were seized, causing significant distress and hardship.
