Here's my ongoing saga with Pronet. In February, I tried to cancel my subscription. Despite submitting my cancellation letter, I was billed for three more months. After countless negotiations, these invoices were cancelled. Then, they promised to collect the system, only to backtrack a week later, saying I needed to submit another cancellation letter. I realized this was a ploy to avoid cancelling the May invoice. Despite having my cancellation letter dated February 16, they keep calling and threatening legal action if I don't pay the invoices issued after my cancellation request. I no longer see Pronet as a security company. They lure you in with marketing tactics, then make it impossible to leave. I suspect many people simply pay the extra invoices to avoid the hassle. We have a company lawyer, so let them take the legal action they keep threatening. They can explain to the judge why they didn't cancel the system and why they continued to issue invoices for four months afterwards.
