Promova Charged My Card Without Consent After a Free Trial
I downloaded Promova’s English learning program as a trial version and used it briefly. I did not make any purchase or give approval for a paid subscription. Despite this, I later noticed that my card has been charged automatically every month, and so far, about $190 has been withdrawn without my permission.
Even though I deleted the app from my phone, the charges continue, and I cannot see these payments in my purchase history. I have screenshots of my bank transaction records, and all of these charges were made without my consent. Today, I contacted my bank and informed them that I want these payments to be stopped.
I demand that these recurring charges, which were started without my approval, be canceled immediately and that the full $190 withdrawn from my card be refunded to me. I also request that all authorizations related to my account and personal data be removed and that my subscription be completely terminated.
