Promova Charged Without My Approval After Trial Ended—I Demand a Refund
I signed up for Promova to try the free trial, but I was shocked to find that they withdrew money from my credit card without my permission. I never gave consent for a subscription to begin after the trial ended. No email, no message, no prompt—absolutely nothing was sent to inform me that the trial was ending or that I would be charged.
This is completely unacceptable. I deliberately chose not to continue after the trial because I didn’t find the app useful. Still, Promova went ahead and charged me. How can you take someone’s money without explicit confirmation? This isn’t just frustrating—it’s wrong.
I demand an immediate refund for the unauthorized charge and expect Promova to improve its communication and transparency around trial expirations and payment approvals. You can’t charge people for a service they never agreed to continue.
