Popeyes Order Stayed “Preparing” for an Hour Then Got Canceled

On January 5, 2026, at around 7:51 PM, I placed an order from Popeyes through the Migros Yemek app. My order stayed in the “being prepared” status for about one hour, and I kept waiting, assuming it was actively being processed.

After this long wait, I was informed by Migros Yemek Live Support that my order had been canceled because the restaurant was closed. I find it unacceptable that an order can remain in preparation status for nearly an hour when the restaurant is actually closed, and that I was only informed of the cancellation after such a delay.

This situation caused a serious waste of time and inconvenience. I request a full refund for this order, an official apology for the inconvenience I experienced, and that the necessary checks and system improvements be made so that closed restaurants do not continue to appear as open and accept orders, and that similar situations do not happen again.
