Philips Breast Pump Low Suction Not Fixed by the Brand
November 24, 2022, I totally snagged a Philips breast pump during the November sales. So, I had my baby in May and finally got around to opening and using the product in June 2023. But, like, after using the product a bunch of times, I realized it didn't suck very well. So, I'm someone who produces milk and I've been pumping by hand. My consultant just told me that the machine is messed up because it shouldn't have such weak suction. I wanted to check if my hunch was right, and I borrowed my friend's Lansinoh thingy. Turns out, the Philips pump was totally messed up. So, I hit up customer service and they hooked me up with the deets on the Kartal service center that's close to my place. I was just wondering, what's the deal with returning or exchanging stuff when I go to the service center with the product? When I was there, I told them I wanted to return the product because it wasn't working right from the start. I told the service center that if they found any problems with the device, I'd rather get a refund than have it repaired. They tried out the product a couple of times, asked me to leave it with them, and I reminded them that I wanted a refund if they found any issues with the device. They told me later that I couldn't return the whole product, only the body would be replaced. They said it's because it's been too long since I bought it. I think this response is not cool because I couldn't test the product before buying it due to the conditions of the sale and my pregnancy timing. It's crazy to expect me to risk having a premature baby by trying to use a janky product for milking. Man, this product is totally messed up. I can't believe I wasted my money on it. And get this, they only offered me a partial replacement before I even got a chance to use it properly. So frustrating! could you please take care of this ASAP? Thanks! It's a bummer to see such bad results from a well-known brand that makes electronics.
