Philips Fail to Address Broken XC8049/01 Vertical Vacuum Cleaner



I got this Philips XC8049/01 Vertical Cordless Vacuum Cleaner, but turns out it had a major issue - the exact same one I faced. So, when I opened the box, saw that the push latch on the long metal tube that connects to the machine was busted. They totally sent a messed up product. Called, Vatan Bilgisayar right away, telling them I wanna return the machine, surprisingly, they told me they wouldn't take the return but would set up a service instead. basically, they said that Philips told them not to take returns and just do repairs. It felt like we were just passing the buck back and forth. they were like, "If you had just opened the box in front of the delivery person and told us about the broken part, we might have given you a full refund." But, like, since I got the delivery, they're saying the refund might not go my way, I felt stuck in the middle waiting for the Consumer Arbitration Board to make a decision for a painfully long three months.
