Viagogo Still Hasn't Refunded My Canceled Peggy Gou Tickets

June 15 7:07 PM

I purchased three tickets through Viagogo for Peggy Gou's concert that was scheduled to take place on August 2, 2025, at Park Orman in Istanbul. I paid for the tickets with my credit card in two separate transactions. The first purchase was $135.79 for one ticket, and the second purchase was $272.62 for two additional tickets. My order reference numbers are 618841462 and 618818886.

I later discovered through Viagogo's own website that the concert had been canceled. After learning about the cancellation, I contacted customer service and requested a full refund for all of the tickets I had purchased. Instead of processing a refund, I was told that the event would eventually be rescheduled. I was informed that no refund would be issued and that I could simply sell my tickets once the new event date was announced.

Nearly one year has passed, yet I have still not received a refund. I continue to be told that the event will be rescheduled, but no refund has been provided. My companions and I do not live in Istanbul, so even if the concert is eventually rescheduled, attending would not be a practical option. Keeping customers' money for such a long period after a canceled event is both unfair and damaging to consumer trust.

I respectfully request that Viagogo issue a full refund of the total amount I paid for the canceled Peggy Gou concert tickets, without any deductions. In addition, because my funds have been held for approximately one year, I believe it is reasonable to request interest or other appropriate compensation for the prolonged delay in processing my refund.
