Pegasus Deducted Fees Despite Free Cancellation for Cairo-Istanbul Tickets

I purchased round-trip tickets from Cairo to Istanbul with Pegasus, carefully noting the “free cancellation within 24 hours” statement under the ticket price for both flights. After realizing I selected the wrong dates, I canceled the tickets immediately. However, despite paying ₺3,226 and ₺2,846 for the tickets, the refunds I received were significantly lower—₺3,084 and ₺2,074. When I contacted customer service, they informed me that the difference was due to tax deductions. This is misleading since the tickets were clearly marked as having free cancellation. I feel deceived and plan to file a complaint with Consumer Rights. I urge others to be cautious with Pegasus’ misleading claims.
