Pegasus Airlines Denied Boarding Despite On-Time Arrival
On January 15, 2026, at 8:40 PM, I had a Pegasus Airlines flight from Konya Airport to Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport with PNR code 1Y3LDP. I arrived at the airport two hours before the scheduled departure time. Even though passengers were still boarding the plane and the stairs were still in place, the staff told me that I would not be allowed to board and refused to provide any reasonable explanation.
Despite repeatedly stating that I wanted to board the flight, I was effectively made to wait and plead, yet I was still denied boarding. The staff then told me that I would need to purchase a new ticket by paying the fare difference. Even though I stated that I did not accept this, they took my existing ticket and tore it up in front of me. As a result, the ticket I had purchased and paid for was voided, I was not allowed to board the plane, and I was left in a difficult and unfair situation.
After the incident, I contacted Pegasus customer service on Thursday and filed a formal complaint. I was told that I would receive a response; however, five days have passed and I have not received any follow-up.
To resolve this issue, I am requesting a full refund of the unused ticket for the flight I was not allowed to board. I also ask that a proper investigation be conducted and that the necessary steps be taken to prevent similar incidents from happening again.
