I am writing to formally submit a complaint regarding the unacceptable treatment I received from Pegasus Airlines on June 2, 2025. I had a confirmed ticket worth ₺797 for a flight scheduled to depart from Antalya Airport to Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen at 12:00 PM. I arrived at the gate approximately 20 minutes before departure, yet I was denied boarding by Pegasus staff, who claimed the gate had already closed. What made the situation worse was that the plane had not yet departed, and no final call or announcements were made to inform passengers. Despite explaining my situation, the staff showed no flexibility and provided no support—not even a ticket change or any form of assistance. When I asked for another flight on the same day, I was offered tickets at a significantly higher price than my original booking. This is not the first time I have encountered issues with Pegasus Airlines; I have experienced similar problems in previous years, including poor customer service and a lack of accountability. Unfortunately, nothing seems to have improved. There is no emphasis on customer satisfaction, no clear communication, and no effort to resolve problems. It’s disheartening that such a large airline continues to show such disregard for its passengers. Based on this experience, I would not even give them a one out of ten. I am requesting a full refund for my unused ticket and expect Pegasus Airlines to take responsibility for the inconvenience caused. If the issue is not resolved promptly, I will file a formal complaint with the Turkish Consumer Arbitration Committee and the Directorate General of Civil Aviation.
