Unauthorized pdf.com Charges Appeared on My Akbank Card Without Permission
On 03/09, I noticed that two separate charges — approximately $64 and an additional approximately $2 — were made online from my Akbank card without my knowledge or permission. The transactions appear on my statement under the name “pdf.com,” but I have never created a membership, made a purchase, or approved any payment to such a website.
As soon as I discovered the issue, I contacted Akbank customer service and created a support request regarding the suspicious transactions. At the moment, the charges are still pending authorization. I demand that these unauthorized charges made from my card be canceled immediately and that the pending transactions be completely reversed before they are finalized.
I also request that a full investigation be conducted regarding these internet transactions that occurred without my knowledge or approval, that I receive written clarification about the outcome, and that all necessary security measures be taken to prevent a similar situation from happening again in the future.
