Papara Blocked My Account and Black Card Without Any Explanation
For about 3–4 months, my Papara account and my Papara Black Card have been completely inaccessible. My ₺1020 has been blocked in my account under the excuse of “review,” and I am unable to make any transactions. I contacted customer service multiple times both by email and phone, but I either received automatic replies or was told “we can’t do anything.” My issue has not been resolved in any way. Papara informed me that my account was closed for security reasons, but no detailed explanation was given. At this point, I cannot perform any transactions, and this situation has exhausted my patience. My Papara customer number is 1447517***, and my Black Card is active, with validity in the app until 2030. I urgently request that my account be reopened and my money returned. If my issue is not resolved quickly, I want my account to be permanently closed and my funds fully refunded. I will not accept this grievance continuing any longer.
Progress
Approximately 8-9 months ago, an amount of 10,020 TL in my Papara account and cards was blocked without any justification. Since I heard that the same thing was done to many people at that time, I waited and did not make an issue out of it. However, during this period, I have not been able to use the money that belongs to me and I have been victimized. Yesterday, my account was completely closed without any explanation.
I called customer service many times, having at least 10 conversations in total. Each time, I only received a short response like 'we are investigating.' In my last call, they asked for my IBAN to refund the money on my card; they did not accept the first IBAN I sent, so I opened a new account and sent it again, but this time they said they would not transfer the money. During this process, they also told me that they could initiate legal action against me without justification. I cannot log into my account or access my card information. Throughout this period, I was in Kocaeli and my account is still under guarantee.
I primarily request the immediate return of all my money from Papara, the reopening of my account if possible, and an official explanation of this victimization. I also want the relevant authorities to be contacted so that the necessary sanctions are imposed on this institution.
