I Report Open English For Unauthorized Charge Despite Non-Renewal Request

As part of my General English membership with Open English, on September 10, 2025, at 16:05, an amount of ₺1,698.30 was withdrawn from my credit card ending in 3253 without my knowledge or consent. My membership was for one year only, and I had specifically requested that it should not be renewed once it expired.

At the time of my first subscription, I was clearly told that no money would ever be charged without my explicit authorization, and that any renewal would only occur after a phone call confirming my approval. Despite this, my account was debited without any prior notification, warning, or approval.

I attempted to contact customer service regarding this matter but was unsuccessful. This has never happened to me before, and it is highly concerning. Even if there is a clause about automatic renewal in the contract, I was assured in recorded conversations that no transaction would be processed without my direct approval.

Therefore, I demand the immediate refund of the unauthorized amount of ₺1,698.30 and the non-renewal of my membership. I expect Open English to honor my explicit request and take the necessary corrective action immediately.
