Opel Crossland Paint Spilling
In December 2022, we ordered a car from the Opel dealership. We received the car, a stylish Crossland with a white exterior and a black roof, at the end of January. However, despite only six months passing, the upper black trim of the car started to have paint issues. White paint started to show through the black. Similarly, there were spot-like issues on the ceiling. I naturally took the car to the dealership, where they took photos and I personally contacted Opel customer service and made a request. After a month of evaluations, the offer that came was to repaint the car to resolve my issue and make a payment due to the decrease in value. Why should I have to repaint a brand-new car I just bought? Explaining the issue of a painted roof trim in Turkey is difficult, let alone accepting the repainting of a brand-new car for a reason that is not my fault. I requested a replacement. I bought the car with pleasure, having confidence in the Opel brand. Besides the disappointment of my car being in this state, my biggest expectation is for Opel to stand behind its product as a reputable brand.
