In October 2023, the black paint on the roof of our brand-new 2023 model Mokka, which we purchased from the Opel dealer, began to flake off shortly after we bought it. When we reported the issue to the service center, they offered to repaint the entire roof and compensate us with ₺90,000 for the loss of value. However, after conducting market research, we discovered that completely repainting the roof would result in an approximate loss of ₺250,000 in value. It is clear that our vehicle has a chronic defect, as similar complaints are quite common with this model. A neighbor who owns the same vehicle experienced the same issue and advised us to contact the service center. Despite doing so, no solution has been provided. The appearance of these flakes just 5-6 months after purchase clearly indicates a manufacturing defect, and the problem is worsening as the flakes continue to spread rapidly. We request an effective and permanent solution to this issue.
