Opel Offered Me Less Compensation for My Mokka GS Despite Its Paint Issue




I purchased a brand-new Opel Mokka GS from the dealership in July 2024, and just two months later, the roof paint began to peel. After submitting a complaint to Opel, I was informed that this is a known chronic issue. They offered me a repair and compensation of ₺90,000 for the loss in value. However, I have learned that owners of lower model vehicles have been offered ₺140,000. When I asked Opel to increase their offer, they responded with an updated amount of ₺95,000. Offering less compensation for a newer and higher-end model compared to older, lower-tier vehicles is a clear double standard. Additionally, the process has been moving at a frustratingly slow pace, and my issue has remained unresolved for over eight months. I am sharing this to inform all relevant parties.
