Omio Charged for Refundable Bus Ticket but Refuses to Issue a Refund
I booked a Rome to Florence bus ticket for January 26, 2025, through Omio, and I paid extra for the cancellation and change option. However, when I tried to cancel, I was told that the ticket is non-refundable, even though I specifically paid for a flexible fare.
I contacted Omio’s customer service, but they simply told me that the ticket does not include a cancellation option, completely ignoring the fact that I paid for this feature. How is this acceptable? If Omio is charging customers for refundable tickets, they should honor their own policies and issue refunds when requested.
I expect an immediate resolution and a full refund. Omio, stop misleading customers with false refund policies!

Hi Esma, I wonder if you received a refund from Omio in your case? I have exactly the same problem (if you could check my complaint about Omio on my profile), I paid an extra fee to be able to cancel / change my Sky Express flight ticket on March 2026, I want to cancel it now and both Sky Express and Omio don't want to take any responsibility to give any refund. If both companies don't approach to refund any money back, then as customers why should we given an option to choose packages and pay extra fees for them? Thank you in advenge for your suport!
