Nocturne Hid the No-Return Policy for My $228 Armani Exchange Dress
I purchased an Armani Exchange “Corset Detail Midi Taffeta Dress S,” product code 8683883161642, from Nocturne’s website on August 17, 2026, for approximately $228 to wear to a special event. When the dress arrived, I was very disappointed by the fabric quality, which felt extremely plastic-like and was far below my expectations.
When I wanted to return the dress, I found a document inside the package stating that the product could not be returned and that only a size exchange was allowed. However, during the purchase process, there was no clear or prominent warning about such an important restriction on the product page, in the shopping cart, or during checkout. This information could only be found by opening the product details and scrolling all the way to the bottom. I believe this does not adequately inform consumers and is misleading.
When I called customer service about the issue, I was told that it was sufficient for the information to be written somewhere on the website. I do not consider it transparent or fair to disclose a restriction on the right to return a product in such an inconspicuous way, especially for a high-value purchase.
I request that my right to return an online purchase be clearly and prominently disclosed, that my return request be accepted without difficulty, and that Nocturne make its website disclosures more transparent so that other consumers do not face similar problems.
