Kıyafet Sepeti Refused My Return for a Standard Dress
On June 26, 2026, I purchased a dress from the Kıyafet Sepeti website for $179. The order was shipped and delivered to me on June 29, 2026. After trying on the dress, I found that it did not fit properly, so I decided to cancel the purchase and return it.
When I contacted the company through its WhatsApp support line, I was initially told that it was outside business hours and that only the sales department was available. Later, when I requested a return, my request was denied. I was told that returns are not accepted because the dress is considered a product made for special occasions. However, the dress is not custom-made or personalized in any way—it is a standard retail product. I believe my legal right to return the item is being unfairly denied.
I politely explained that I intended to pursue the matter through the appropriate legal channels, but I was met with the response, "You are completely free to do so." As a result, I have already filed a complaint with the Consumer Arbitration Committee. I believe a company that sells high-value products and presents itself as a professional brand should not treat its customers this way or refuse to honor their consumer rights.
Because the dress did not fit and I believe I am legally entitled to return it, I request a full refund of the $179 I paid.
