Transmission Failure on Nissan Qashqai 2018 Sky Pack 1.2
In 2018, I purchased a Nissan Qashqai 2018 Sky Pack 1.2 car, believing that regular maintenance of Japanese vehicles would prevent engine and transmission problems. I am still the vehicle's original owner. On June 30th, as I was attempting to accelerate on the E80 highway, I heard a loud thud from underneath the car, and it began to slow down. I pulled over to the right, turned off and restarted the engine, but the car didn't move. I had it towed to the service center in Ümraniye. They checked the car on Monday and Tuesday due to the holiday and diagnosed a transmission failure, stating that the transmission needed to be replaced. After a 203,000 TL discount, they offered a replacement for 187,000 TL. Nissan's headquarters and Turkey office both ignored my requests for assistance. Instead, I had to pay an independent repair shop 54,000 TL to fix the transmission. It's infuriating that even Japanese vehicles can have transmission problems.
They don't even feel the need to respond.
