Chronic Clutch Issue On Nissan Qashqai CVT – Ignored By Nissan Turkey
I am writing to express my deep frustration with Nissan Turkey's lack of responsibility regarding a persistent and widely known issue in the Qashqai 1.3 DIG-T CVT models. Since the first year of ownership, I have experienced a clutch-related malfunction in my 2021 Nissan Qashqai. I reported this problem to the authorized service center (Yüzbaşıoğlu, Çekmeköy) during my second-year maintenance, but was told over the phone that “everything is normal” — without any meaningful inspection or record. Now, at only 62,000 km, the problem is more severe and clearly noticeable. Despite exclusively servicing the car at authorized Nissan centers, I was denied any goodwill warranty support. Even worse, this is not an isolated incident: many other owners of the same engine and transmission setup are reporting the same clutch issue across online forums and communities. It is incredibly disappointing to see that Nissan Turkey chooses to ignore this widespread issue, offering no support, no solution, and no sense of accountability. Their communication is cold, dismissive, and far from the customer care standards one would expect from a global brand. I urge Nissan’s global quality or customer relations teams to take notice. This is a systemic mechanical flaw affecting more than just one customer — and we deserve a fair response, not indifference.
