My item from NextDirect arrived different than what I ordered. Who'll pay for the wrong order?

If a NextDirect order is placed incorrectly, the customer or NextDirect bears the responsibility for the associated costs and processes.

In the event that the error results from a customer error (e.g., ordering the incorrect item), the customer is usually responsible for return shipping costs. Additionally, NextDirect may apply a restocking fee. If the customer provides an incorrect delivery address, resulting in an undeliverable or returned item, they are also responsible for paying additional shipping or redelivery fees.

However, NextDirect bears the responsibility for return, replacement, or refunding the customer in the event that the error is a NextDirect Error, such as sending the incorrect item or delivering a damaged one.

Important to know is that NextDirect does not provide pre-paid return labels. They do, however, offer to reimburse the shipping cost if NextDirect is at fault. Customers should get in touch with NextDirect's customer support directly for comprehensive details on these procedures.
