Nautica Rejected My Warranty Claim for Noisy Shoes
I purchased a pair of Nautica women's athletic shoes from the Nautica store at Bodrum Midtown Shopping Mall. Even though I have worn them only about once a week, they quickly developed a noticeable squeaking noise coming from both the right and left heel while walking. The shoes now squeak with almost every step, making them uncomfortable to wear and significantly reducing their overall comfort and usability.
Since June, I have sent the shoes to Nautica for inspection twice. Both times, I received a text message informing me that my claim had been rejected. However, I was never given a satisfactory explanation for what caused the problem or why it was not considered a defect. In my opinion, shoes should not begin making loud squeaking noises after such limited and normal use. I have also attached a video to my complaint in which the squeaking sound can be clearly heard.
Because I believe the shoes are defective, I request that Nautica replace them with a new pair. I also ask the company to review my case again, carefully consider the evidence I have provided, and resolve this issue fairly so that my inconvenience and disappointment are properly addressed.
