I Faced Rude and Unhelpful Staff at NARS Akmerkez While Shopping for Liquid Blush

Today around 4:00 PM, I visited the NARS store in Akmerkez intending to purchase a liquid blush. As I walked in, I noticed there were no staff actively helping customers. One person was sitting behind the counter, and when I asked about the price, they didn’t even bother to stand up—instead, they shouted the price across the store while remaining seated. There was zero effort to engage or assist me, even though I was ready to buy.

This lack of basic courtesy and customer service made me feel completely dismissed. I ended up walking out and going to Sephora instead, where a staff member—despite already helping someone else—took a moment to politely say, “I’ll be right with you.” That small gesture made all the difference. I ended up purchasing a different brand’s blush—one I hadn’t even planned on buying—simply because I was treated like a valued customer.

NARS really needs to train its staff on how to treat potential buyers with respect. I walked in ready to spend and left feeling ignored. I expect NARS to take this seriously and improve the quality of service at their Akmerkez location.
