I Received a Low-Pigment NARS Palette and Was Refused a Return or Exchange

I purchased a makeup palette from the NARS store at Kanyon, expecting the high-quality pigmentation the brand is known for. Unfortunately, the product completely failed to deliver. It lacked pigment entirely—no matter how much I applied, the colors barely showed up. It was nothing like what I had seen in store displays or online promotions.

I returned to the store and explained the issue, requesting either a refund or an exchange. To my frustration, the staff told me there was nothing they could do and that I would just have to use it “as is.” This response was extremely dismissive, especially since I’ve used many makeup brands and know what quality should look like. They treated me as if I didn’t understand how to use the product properly, which was both insulting and unprofessional.

I am deeply disappointed that NARS refuses to stand behind its own products. I won’t be purchasing from this brand again, and I will make sure to share this experience across all relevant platforms. I expect NARS to take accountability and offer a resolution—either a refund or a product replacement—immediately.
