My spouse and I had a connecting flight on July 19, 2024, from Budapest to Istanbul (VF 110) and then Istanbul to Ankara (VF 3012) with AJet. Due to AJet’s system failure, we tried multiple times to complete online check-in but couldn’t—and we missed our flight because of it.
We contacted AJet’s call center, and they confirmed that all passengers affected that day would be refunded due to the technical issue. But later, they told us that because we purchased our tickets through Mytrip, the refund must be processed by Mytrip.
It has now been 8 months, and Mytrip still hasn’t issued any refund, despite multiple attempts to contact them. What’s worse, other passengers who flew with us and booked elsewhere received their refunds within a month. So why are we still being ignored?
I demand that either AJet or Mytrip—whichever party is responsible—resolves this immediately and refunds our ₺. If this issue isn’t handled right away, I’ll be filing a complaint with the Consumer Arbitration Board, using our travel companions’ successful refunds as precedent. Enough waiting—fix this now.
