Mytrip Charged Cancellation Fees Despite 24-Hour Pegasus Refund Policy
On November 7, 2025, I purchased airline tickets for four people on Pegasus Airlines through mytrip.com. I paid by credit card and was charged a total of $886 USD. Approximately one hour after the purchase, I canceled my ticket through the Pegasus mobile app. Pegasus stated that the payment was fully refunded.
However, mytrip.com informed me that a deduction of $45 USD per passenger would be applied to cancel the transaction, which was still in the authorization stage. When I spoke with customer support, I was told that if I did not accept this deduction, I would not receive any refund at all, and I was forced to approve it. There may be such a clause in the contracts, but no clear or transparent information was provided to me during the purchase process. Additionally, when I make transactions directly through Pegasus, I am able to exercise my right of withdrawal within the first 24 hours without any deduction.
Since I exercised my right of cancellation within 24 hours, I am requesting that my payment be refunded in full with no deductions.
