On March 21, 2023, I purchased a pair of Mizuno Wave Daiichi 7 shoes from your official online store. After only a short period of use, I noticed visible wear on both the inner foam lining and the external Energy cushioning areas. I submitted the shoes for warranty evaluation, and Mizuno acknowledged the defect, replacing them with a new pair.
However, to my disappointment, the exact same issue occurred again with the replacement shoes. In June 2024, I submitted the second pair for warranty review, this time including photos showing the inner lining deteriorating and the outer foam visibly worn down—despite only light, casual use and no involvement in sports or outdoor activities.
Shockingly, the product was returned to me with the explanation that the warranty had expired after six months and no manufacturing fault was found. This is unacceptable for a premium outdoor shoe model from a brand like Mizuno. Not only is the 6-month warranty period nowhere to be found on the sales contract or website, but given that the same defect occurred twice, this clearly suggests a chronic manufacturing issue.
The original pair was replaced in December 2023, and the replacement pair was submitted for warranty in June 2024—well within a 6-month period even if your internal policy applied. As a long-time customer who has always trusted and purchased Mizuno shoes exclusively, I expected both better product quality and customer support that honors brand integrity.
