I purchased my brand-new vehicle from Mengerler Ankara on 12/03/2020. About three months later, I started hearing a belt noise from the engine. The service department made the necessary repairs, and I continued to maintain my car with Mengerler Ankara.
In June 2024, I couldn't get a service appointment at Mengerler due to high demand, so I contacted customer service and was directed to Aydoğanlar for maintenance. Unfortunately, the belt noise returned, and I was informed that the necessary part would need to be ordered from abroad, with a 60-day wait. I was told it was safe to drive the car and that they would contact me once the part arrived.
On 01/08/2024, I was called to Aydoğanlar in Ankara to have the part installed. However, the new part was defective, and I was told it would take another 25 days to receive a replacement.
Then, on 07/08/2024, my car broke down in Kastamonu / İnebolu. When I contacted Mercedes Roadside Assistance (444 62 44), I was told that my car would be towed to Samsun, not Ankara, unless I paid an additional ₺5000. Despite explaining that all my service needs have been handled in Ankara, they towed my car to Samsun. My vehicle is insured with Mercedes Insurance through Mengerler.
It’s now been three days since the breakdown, and they keep telling me that there’s a high demand for replacement vehicles, with no clear timeline on when one will be available. I rely on my car for work and family, and this situation has caused me significant distress. I’ve owned other vehicles before, but I’ve never experienced anything like this. I’m disappointed that my experience with Mercedes has been so frustrating. I urgently request that my situation be resolved and look forward to a prompt and positive response.
