I purchased the Maxi-Cosi baby stroller directly from Amazon, but unfortunately, the plastic part broke easily, which made the stroller unusable. It seems that the quality of the plastic was not up to par. After I started the return process, Amazon confirmed that even though the 30-day return window had passed, I could still return it within the 2-year warranty period. Once they collected the product, I patiently waited for my refund. Yet, an entire month went by, and I was still without it.
After reaching out to Amazon once more, they insisted that the damage was caused by the user and declined to issue a refund. They neglected to inform me about this unless I specifically asked. In addition, they declined to accept any responsibility and instead directed me to contact the manufacturer. Why bother with a 2-year warranty if it's not even respected in situations like these? If Amazon refuses to address this issue, then why do they continue to sell products directly? This baby stroller is quite expensive, and it is absolutely unacceptable to be treated in such a manner! I will be escalating this issue to the consumer board as such carelessness should not be accepted.
