Requesting a Superlight 2 Upgrade After a Known Chronic Switch Failure
I use a Logitech Pro X Superlight 1 mouse. I purchased the product from Vatan Bilgisayar on 02/05/2024. Recently, a switch problem appeared on the left button of the mouse. When I click the left button, it registers as a right click instead, and this causes serious issues, especially while gaming. Whether I'm aiming, firing, or performing a simple action, the wrong command gets sent, and it completely ruins my gaming experience.
What's interesting is that the problem started suddenly. I noticed it on 06/07/2026 when I got home and used the mouse; before that, I had been away from home on vacation for two days, and the mouse had no problems at all — it was working fine. So this isn't a case of user error or something caused by an impact.
Once the problem appeared, I reached out to Logitech's live support. They asked me for information like my full address and phone number, along with the invoice, product photos, a video recording, and the serial number, and I sent all of it in full. Since I bought the product from Vatan Bilgisayar, I submitted the official PDF invoice downloaded from Vatan's system. After providing all this information, I was hopeful, but a few days later I received an email saying, "We were unable to verify the receipt from the retailer; we cannot process your request without a valid receipt/invoice," and my request was rejected.
Given that I have an official PDF invoice provided by Vatan Bilgisayar, I see Logitech treating this invoice as "invalid" and rejecting my request as both unfair and an approach unbecoming of a brand focused on customer satisfaction. I paid around $105 for the product at the time, and from a brand at this level, I wouldn't expect the process to be made this difficult, especially regarding a switch issue that's known to be a chronic problem with this model. If needed, I'm ready to send in the defective product — I would never share fake documents or false information.
For all these reasons, given that the switch issue is known to be chronic in this Pro X Superlight 1 model and given the risk of experiencing the same problem again in the future, I'm requesting a product exchange for the Logitech Superlight 2 Dex model, if possible. I'm asking that my Vatan Bilgisayar invoice be accepted as valid proof of purchase, and that a customer-focused solution be provided accordingly.
