LiveCareer Charged Me $20 Even Though I Never Completed a Purchase
About a month ago, I visited the LiveCareer website to create a CV, but I left the site without completing any membership or purchase because I found the price too high. I did not download a CV or approve any paid package.
However, on August 31, 2026, when I checked my bank’s mobile app, I noticed a charge of $19.90 from my card ending in 9221, listed in my bank records as -987.13 Turkish lira under the description “epos Livecareer.com.tr.” I did not authorize this transaction.
I immediately tried to contact LiveCareer after discovering the unauthorized charge, but the phone number I found does not ring, and I have been unable to reach anyone who can assist me. To prevent further unauthorized charges and additional financial loss, I had my card canceled.
I request that this transaction, which was made without my explicit consent or authorization, be canceled and that the full amount of $20 charged to my card be refunded to my card or bank account as soon as possible. I also request that my account and any associated membership or subscription be completely terminated and that all of my card information be permanently removed from your systems.
I expect LiveCareer to provide a clear explanation of how this charge occurred and to take the necessary measures to ensure that no further unauthorized transactions are made using my information.
