LG Disappointment and Challenging Service after Spending 43,000 TL

Subject: LG 86NANO906 TV Malfunction and Troublesome Service Experience Date: 09.02.21 Store: VATAN BİLGİSAYAR Authorized Product Provider: LG Purchased Product: LG 86NANO906 86” 218cm NANOCELL 4K ultra HD webos smart television Price: 22,626 TL Additionally Purchased Item: Surge-Protected Power Strip Two and a half years ago, I purchased the LG 86NANO906 model television from VATAN BİLGİSAYAR, making a substantial payment. I also bought a surge-protected power strip to enhance its safety of use. However, after 2 years and 6 months, the television's panel experienced a spontaneous malfunction. After contacting LG Turkey, an examination by the authorized service in İzmir Bornova confirmed the panel's defect. The authorized service stated that this issue was not due to user error, and documented it accordingly. Despite my request to include this information in the documentation, they refused. Furthermore, their demand for 43,000 TL to repair the television is highly unjust and unethical. I contacted LG Turkey once again and explained the situation. They informed me that since the warranty period had expired, I would need to pay 43,000 TL for the repair. This amount nearly equals the entire cost of a new television (approximately 55,000 TL). While most people enjoy trouble-free use of their purchased televisions for years, mine malfunctioned on its own within two and a half years. I want to emphasize that I used it with great care, employing a voltage-protective power strip. This situation can only be described as a clear case of deception. I no longer recommend the LG brand to anyone. I demand an urgent resolution to my issue. Either replace the television with the same model or repair it without charging for the parts. I am willing to cover the cost of the technical service's labor, but I cannot accept a high sum like 43,000 TL. I want to make it clear that I will pursue legal avenues to resolve this matter and will also bring it to the attention of the media.

It's been 2 weeks since my complaint. LG is playing the "I didn't hear, I didn't see, I don't know" game.
